Job Description
Details:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within one year. – NOT
COMPLETELY REQUIRED***
7 - 10 years of electrical engineering experience in consulting engineering, MEP, or
related industries.
Proven experience leading electrical engineering projects from design through
construction.
Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and low-voltage
system design.
Experience performing electrical system analysis including:
o Load calculations
o Short-circuit studies
o Arc flash analysis
o Coordination studies
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical power analysis software such as SKM,
ETAP, or EasyPower.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary engineering
teams.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
Thorough understanding of NEC, NFPA, energy codes, and applicable electrical design
standards.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple
projects.
